New Delhi, Nov. 25 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday, November 25, hoisted the saffron flag atop the 191-foot shikhar of the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya of Uttar Pradesh, during the flag ceremony, in celebration of the completion of the temple's construction. During the ceremony, PM Modi termed the Ram temple flag as the "dharma dhwaja," calling it a symbol of struggle, resolve and Ram Rajya's values.

PM Modi also noted that the "wounds and pain" of centuries are healing as a 500-year-old resolve is finally being fulfilled with the formal completion of the Ram temple.
