New Delhi, Feb. 1 -- In a post-Trump world, where global dynamics are shifting particularly in the aftermath of the US-China trade war, the government has placed a significant focus on invigorating manufacturing and exports while also opening up the domestic market for trading partners.
As part of the customs duty rejig, the government lowered import duties on products such as motorcycles, both engines capacity below 1,600cc and above that, some passenger vehicles, goods used in space sector such as components of satellite vehicles and on parts of mobile phones and LCD TVs.
