New Delhi, Sept. 8 -- United States President Donald Trump stated that he would review the circumstances surrounding a recent immigration raid at a Hyundai Motor manufacturing facility in the state of Georgia. He emphasised that the incident had not adversely affected Washington's diplomatic ties with Seoul.
Trump: "We have a strong relationship with South Korea; the Hyundai plant issue is not straining that relationship."
On Sunday, the South Korean government announced that approximately 300 of its nationals, who were detained during the operation, would be released and repatriated. The sudden detention of these workers had raised concerns about potential diplomatic and economic tensions between the two nations.
