New Delhi, July 24 -- Hulk Hogan, the larger-than-life wrestling icon who became a global pop culture sensation and helped transform professional wrestling into a billion-dollar entertainment industry, has died at the age of 71.
"WWE is saddened to learn WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has passed away. One of pop culture's most recognizable figures, Hogan helped WWE achieve global recognition in the 1980s. WWE extends its condolences to Hogan's family, friends, and fans," WWE's statement read.
According to TMZ Sports, emergency medical services were dispatched to Hogan's residence in Clearwater, Florida, early Thursday morning following a cardiac arrest call. Multiple police units and EMTs were seen outside his home. Sources told the news ...
