New Delhi, Oct. 18 -- HDFC Bank reported a standalone net profit of Rs.18,641.28 crore during the second quarter of FY26, registering a growth of 10.8% from Rs.16,820.97 crore, in the year-ago period.

The bank's consolidated profit after tax rose 10% to Rs.19,610.67 crore from Rs.17,825.91 crore YoY. For the half year ended September 30, 2025, the lender's consolidated net profit was Rs.35,868.58 crore.

Net Interest Income (NII), the difference between interest earned and interest paid, in Q2FY26 grew 4.8% to Rs.31,551.5 crore from Rs.30,114 crore, year-on-year (YoY). Core net interest margin was at 3.27% on total assets, reflecting assets repricing faster than deposits, as against 3.35% for the prior quarter ended June 30, 2025.
