New Delhi, Nov. 8 -- Indian and Indian-origin musicians have made a significant mark on the global stage once again, with multiple nominations at the Grammy Awards 2026.

Among the standout names are sitar maestro Anoushka Shankar, sarod artist Alam Khan, jazz composer Charu Suri, and composer Siddhant Bhatia, all recognised for their exceptional contributions to global and contemporary music.

Anoushka Shankar, a veteran Grammy nominee, received nods in two categories this year. Her single Daybreak earned her a nomination for Best Global Music Performance, while her latest album Chapter III: We Return To Light - a collaboration with Alam Khan and drummer Sarathy Korwar - secured a nomination for Best Global Music Album.
