New Delhi, May 13 -- Google has updated its iconic 'G' logo for the first time in almost a decade. The new logo keeps in the G in the same Product Sans format that we have grown accustomed to, but makes significant changes with how the colours are portrayed.

Instead of the four solid colours (red, yellow, green, blue) on the old logo, the new logo employs a gradient design which makes the colours flor more organically while also adding depth and polish. The colour distribution and gradient blending also makes the new logo appear more balanced.
