New Delhi, Dec. 9 -- Google is trying once again to put a computer on your face, this time working with hardware partners and keeping Android at the centre of the plan. At The Android Show XR Edition the company finally showed Project Aura as more than a quick stage tease. Built with Xreal and expected in 2026, Aura sits on the same Android XR platform as Samsung Galaxy XR and becomes an early test of how Google wants extended reality to work across several brands instead of a single in house device.
