New Delhi, Oct. 22 -- Gold price and silver prices in your city today: The prices of the yellow metal dropped on India's MCX on Tuesday, October 21, after a strong demand for Diwali 2025.

MCX Gold December futures last closed 0.21% lower at Rs.1,28,000 per 10 grams, while MCX Silver December contracts fell 0.22% at Rs.1,50,000 per kg on Tuesday, October 21. Notably, MCX India is closed today due to Diwali Balipratipada. The commodities market was also closed on Tuesday for normal trading; however, it was open for a brief period during Muhurat trading hours.
