New Delhi, Oct. 30 -- Google has started rolling out its new Gemini experience on Google Home devices, marking the start of a major shift in how people interact with their connected homes. The rollout is currently limited to the United States as part of an early access program, with more regions expected to follow.
Earlier this month, the company confirmed that Gemini would replace Google Assistant across smart speakers, displays, and older hardware still in use. Now, select users in the US are seeing prompts that invite them to try the upgraded system through the Google Home app.
