New Delhi, Nov. 28 -- Piyush Gupta, the former CEO of DBS Group, has joined Singaporean state-owned multinational investment firm Temasek as its India chairman, albeit in a non-executive role, and will work closely with Ravi Lambah, head of India and strategic initiatives, the company said. He will take on the role from 1 December.
Temasek added that Gupta will also work closely with the India team on their investment strategies, and partner with and support Temasek portfolio companies as they identify opportunities in India. In addition, he will engage with the Indian government and business communities, the company added.
