New Delhi, Nov. 25 -- With the ash clouds from Ethiopia's Hayli Gubbi Volcano reaching Delhi NCR, residents are worried about its health effects given the fact that the national capital has already been suffering for over a month due to bad air quality.
A volcano in northern Ethiopia erupted for the first time in almost 10,000 years, with high columns of ashes being sent into the atmosphere and triggering meteorological departments across the world. Fast upper-level winds carried the debris and ashes thousands of kilometres, with India getting affected for a brief period as a cloud passed over its northern and western parts.
