L2, March 27 -- Empuraan Box Office collection Day 1- The sequel to 2019's 'Lucifer' had already shattered records with its pre-sales. The Mohanlal starrer movie, however, failed to keep up with the same momentum on Thursday, March 27, the day of its release.

As per data by industry tracker Sacnilk, the pre-sales of Empuraan on the opening day surpassed Rs.35 crore, and crossed Rs.50 crore gross for the entire opening weekend at the worldwide box office.

Empuraan was already declared the biggest Malayalam opener; courtesy - the pre sales.

L2: Empuraan is estimated to bring Rs.13.44 crore India net, as per data by industry tracker Sacnilk.
