New Delhi, Jan. 31 -- India's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is projected to grow between 6.3 percent and 6.8 percent in the financial year 2025-26 (FY26), according to the Economic Survey 2024-25. The projection indicates that economic growth may remain slow in the coming year.

The survey, tabled by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, highlighted that while economic fundamentals remain strong, external and domestic factors could influence growth momentum in the coming year.

It pointed out that despite global uncertainty, India's real GDP growth of 6.4 per cent in FY25 (as per first advance estimates of national income) remains close to the decadal average.
