New Delhi, Dec. 11 -- Disney is making a $1 billion investment in OpenAI as part of the major agreeement that will also see the 'first major content licensing partner on Sora'. OpenAI had launched its video generation app Sora in September and while there were limited guardrails in place at first, the AI startup had to bring in the restrictions after various controvery.
Disney in particular had opted out of its content from being used on Sora while many other studios and personalities had objected to their likeness being used on videos generated on the AI platform.
However, with the new three-year licensing agreement, Sora users will be able to generate short videos usingover 200 characters from Disney, Marvel, Pixar and Star Wars movie...
