Weather today, June 10 -- An orange warning is in place in the national capital, Delhi, for 10 June as heatwaves take a toll on the lives of residents of North Indian states. In the financial capital Mumbai, although no weather alert is in place, the regional weather forecasting agency predicts a partly cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershowers.

The Southwest monsoon is bringing fresh spells of rain to southern states. Bengaluru, the IT hub of India, is on yellow alert as weather predictions indicate a likelihood of heavy rain with a generally cloudy sky.
