New Delhi, Nov. 11 -- An car blast rocked Delhi on Monday evening, hours after the recovery of nearly 3,000 kgs of explosives from a terror cell, sending the national capital and several other states into high alert.

Several people died in the blast while many others were injured, and an investigation is underway to ascertain the cause and nature of the explosion.

The car blast took place between 6.50 pm and 7 pm on Monday evening.
