New Delhi, June 11 -- The number of active Covid-19 cases on Wednesday in India crossed the 7,000-mark, with states like Gujarat, Kerala and Maharashtra continuing to report the most number of cases. The coronavirus cases have been steadily surging over the past few weeks, from just 257 on May 22 to over 7,000 on June 11.
