New Delhi, March 15 -- New images circulating on social media suggest that China has developed 'invasion barges'-designed to transport troops and equipment. These developments raise concerns about Beijing's preparations for a possible invasion of Taiwan.

Recent footage shows three jack-up barges deployed in tandem on an unidentified beach. Satellite imagery from Guangzhou Shipyard International (GSI) on Longxue Island confirms that three previously observed barges under construction have now departed, according to Tom Shugart, an adjunct senior fellow at the Center for a New American Security (CNAS).
