New Delhi, Nov. 4 -- A preliminary study set to be presented at the American Heart Association's Scientific Sessions 2025 suggests that long-term use of melatonin supplements, commonly taken to aid sleep and treat insomnia, may be linked to an increased risk of being diagnosed with heart failure, hospitalisation for heart failure, and death from any cause among people with chronic insomnia.
