New Delhi, July 1 -- According to a letter given to victims' kin, Bryan Kohberger, accused in four University of Idaho students' murder in November 2022, will plead guilty to four counts of first-degree murder and one count of burglary, accepting four consecutive life sentences without the possibility of appeal.

In return, prosecutors will drop their pursuit of the death penalty, ensuring he avoids capital punishment, ABC News reported.

Bryan Christopher Kohberger is a 30-year-old former Ph.D. candidate in criminology and teaching assistant at Washington State University (WSU) in Pullman, WA, just minutes from Moscow, Idaho where the murders occurred.
