New Delhi, May 8 -- Pakistan attempted to target Jammu airport, prompting counter-measures and a total blackout in Jammu city and surrounding areas. Eyewitnesses reported loud explosions and sirens in Jammu, while a blackout was enforced in Kishtwar. This comes a day after India successfully destroyed nine terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir with Operation Kashmir.
In swift response, the Indian defence systems neutralised many of them and activated air raid sirens.
Further, a complete blackout has been enforced in Kishtwar of Jammu Division, and sirens are being heard throughout the district.
