New Delhi, Dec. 15 -- The two gunmen who opened fire on a Jewish gathering in Sydney's Bondi Beach on Sunday killing at least 16 are reportedly a father-son duo.
ABC, which first reported on the relationship between the two gunmen, cited law enforcement sources.
Further, in an update on Monday morning, authorities said that one of the two suspects, identified earlier as 24-year-old Naveed Akram, remains in the hospital under guard.
The gunman's father, whose identity is yet to be disclosed, was 50, and was shot dead during the exchange of gunfire with the police.
