Mumbai, Dec. 15 -- The State Election Commission (SEC) on Monday announced that the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections will take place on January 15, 2026, with the Code of Conduct coming into effect immediately.

Vote counting is scheduled for January 16, 2026.
