New Delhi, July 11 -- The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) and the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani Group have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to launch Professional Development Programmes in Cybersecurity for working professionals.

This significant step aims to strengthen India's cyber defence capabilities and build a skilled cybersecurity workforce.

CERT-In, which functions under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), is responsible for safeguarding India's digital infrastructure.

The programme will be available to professionals in Government, Public-Sector companies, and Industry, including those without prior coding experience.
