New Delhi, April 24 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi began his address to the gathering in Bihar's Madhubani by asking everyone present to pay tributes to the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack with a few minutes of silence.

Modi was in Madhubani to address the gathering in what was his first public remarks following the ghastly terror attack on tourists in Pahalgam inJammu and Kashmirthat killed 26 civilians, mostly tourists, on April 22.

Modi addressed panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) and gram sabhas across the country at an event at Bihar's Madhubani today, April 24. The prime minister will also launch several projectsworthapproximately Rs.13,500 crore on the occasion.
