New Delhi, April 28 -- Before we shortlist a mutual fund to invest into, it is common to examine its past returns and compare the same with those of other schemes in the same category. The past returns give an indication of how the scheme has performed in the past, thus setting the tone for its future performance.
Here we examine the past returns of a specific category i.e., focused mutual funds.
Focused funds are mandated to invest in a limited number of stocks (maximum 30) with at least 65 percent in equity and equity-related instruments.
