New Delhi, Feb. 8 -- The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation has raised ticket fares from Rs.60 to Rs.90 for the metro services in the city. The new fares will come into effect from Sunday, February 9, 2025, according to an official statement released on Saturday, February 8, 2025.

The Bangalore Metro has planned to retain the existing 5% discount on smart cards only and additionally offer an additional 5% discount on smart cards, which includes a discount of 5% peak hour, 5% off peak effective and 10% for travel during off-peak hour on the basis of the entry time into the metro system.

The off-peak hours start till 8 am, 12 pm to 4 pm and 9 pm to closing hours on weekdays, according to the release.
