New Delhi, Dec. 24 -- With a few days left until 2026 begins, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released a list of bank holidays for next year, marking various national, religious, and regional observances. In 2026, banks in various parts of the country will be closed for over 100 days.
Some of the bank holidays scheduled for next year include Republic Day, Holi, Independence Day, Gandhi Jayanti, Good Friday, Baisakhi, Muharram, Dussehra, Durga Puja and Diwali.

Banks in Agartala region will be closed for Kharchi Puja on 22 July.
