New Delhi, July 28 -- At least six people have been killed in a mass shooting at a food market in Bangkok, Thai Post reported citing officials. The shocking incident occurred at a popular fresh food market and the suspect also died, according to reports.

AFP reported that a gunman open fired at Or Tor Kor Market, killing four security guards. Police said officers are investigating the motive behind the attack in Thailand's capital. "Police are investigating the motive. So far it's a mass shooting," AFP quoted deputy police chief of Bang Sue district, Worapat Sukthai, as saying.
