New Delhi, May 9 -- In view of the recent tensions between India and Pakistan, the Ministry of Civil Aviation has extended the closure of 24 airports from May 10 to May 15, 5:29am IST.

The India government's decision to shut 24 airports till May 15 comes in the wake of escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, after the latter attacked India with 300-400 Turkish made drones on Thursday late evening (May 8).
