Delhi Elections 2025, Jan. 29 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday slammed Arvind Kejriwal for alleging that people of Haryana were trying to kill people by 'mixing poison' in the Yamuna river on its way to the national capital.

"People of 'AAPda' say that people of Haryana mix poison in water sent to Delhi. This is not just an insult to Haryana but to all Indians. Ours is a country where providing drinking water is considered a good deed...Such fear of losing that they are saying anything," Modi said addressing a 'Sankalp Rally' at Kartar Nagar.

"Even I drink water coming from Haryana. I am sure Delhi will teach a lesson to people who say such things," Modi said without naming Kejriwal.
