New Delhi, Jan. 29 -- As US online retail and cloud computing giant Amazon moves to lay off 16,000 corporate employees as part of efforts to streamline operations amid growing competition in artificial intelligence, Beth Galetti, the company's senior vice president of people experience and technology, said in a blog post on Wednesday that most US-based employees will be given 90 days to search for a new role internally, along with severance and other transition support.
