New Delhi, June 12 -- Former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani was reportedly among the 242 passengers who were onboard the Air India flight that crashed in Ahmedabad city of Gujarat on Thursday, June 12. Air India has confirmed that there were as many as 169 Indians, 53 British, seven Portuguese and one Canadian among the passengers.

While there have been no reports on the number of casualties in the Air India plane crash, many are feared to be dead. A full list of passengers who were on board the Air India flight from Ahmedabad to London has surfaced which shows Vijay Rupani was among the passengers who was travelling to London.
