New Delhi, July 8 -- Thermal power generation company Adani Power, said on Tuesday, that it has completed acquisition of 600 MW Vidarbha Power, has now become a wholly owned subsidiary of the company effective July 7.

Adani Power share price fell over 2.4 per cent to during the intraday session Rs.594.15 apiece on Tuesday, July 7. The Adani Group stock opened at Rs.604.40 in the early morning session, as compared to previous close of Rs.597.15 on Monday.

According to the exchange filing, the company has completed the acquistion and resolution plan implementation Vidarbha Industries Power (VIPL) for an aggregate consideration of Rs.4,000 crore.
