New Delhi, Oct. 7 -- Dwayne Johnson has spoken out following the disappointing box office debut of his new film 'The Smashing Machine', which recorded the lowest opening weekend of his career.
Despite critical acclaim for Dwayne's performance, the film earned only $5.9 million from over 3,300 venues across the United States, falling short of its projected $8-15 million range.
"From deep in my grateful bones, thank you to everyone who has watched "The Smashing Machine". In our storytelling world, you can't control box office results - but what I realized you can control is your performance, and your commitment to completely disappear and go elsewhere.
