New Delhi, March 26 -- The Delhi High Court on Wednesday, March 26, refused to entertain a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) against singer Honey Singh's latest song Maniac, which was accused of objectifying women and using vulgar lyrics. The court advised the petitioner, Lavkush Kumar, to seek appropriate legal remedies under civil or criminal law instead, reported Live Law.

A division bench comprising Chief Justice Devendra Kumar Upadhyaya and Justice Tushar Rao Gedela heard the plea, which challenged certain lyrics of the song, claiming they contained "Bhojpuri vulgarity."
