New Delhi, Aug. 14 -- Former Pakistan cricketer Basit Ali is hoping that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) refuse to play the Men in Green in the upcoming Asia Cup 2025, to spare them the humiliation. Ali's comments came in after the Mohammad Rizwan-led side were bowled out for paltry 92 while chasing West Indies' 294/6 in the third ODI in Trinidad recently.

Pakistan's 202-run loss came as a new low for the country as they lost a bilateral ODI series against the Caribbean for the first time in 34 years. After taking a 1-0 lead in the first match, Pakistan slumped to two back-to-back losses to return empty handed in the 50-over format.
