New Delhi, March 3 -- Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya on Monday lashed out at Congress spokesperson Shama Mohamed and Trinamool Congress MP Saugata Roy for fat-shaming India captain Rohit Sharma's and questioning his captaincy, terming it "deeply shameful" and "outright pathetic."
Rohit Sharma,38, was dismissed for 15 runs off 17 balls during India's Champions Trophy match against New Zealand on Sunday.
Training his gun on the Congress spokesperson, Mandaviya wrote on 'X', "Congress and TMC should leave sports persons alone as they are fully capable of handling their professional lives."
