New Delhi, Jan. 31 -- Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has clarified her mother Sonia Gandhi's recent remarks regarding President Droupadi Murmu, stating, "My mother is a 70-80 years old lady; she simply said that the President must have been tired reading such a long speech, poor thing." Priyanka emphasised that Sonia holds the President in high regard and expressed disappointment over how the media has twisted her comments. She added, "It's very unfortunate that this kind of thing has been twisted by the media. They are both respected people, older than us; it's pretty clear that she means no disrespect."
