Israel-Iran War, June 24 -- US President Donald Trump said on Monday (local time) that Israel and Iran have agreed to a 'complete and total ceasefire' to be phased in over 24 hours.

Trump's annoucement comes hours after Iran launched a missile attack on a US air base in Qatar, retaliating for the American bombing of its three nuclear sites a day before.

The US president took to Truth Social and said that the ceasefire would bring an 'official end' to the war, a major change in the hostilities that follows a US strike over the weekend on three Iranian nuclear sites.
