New Delhi, Dec. 9 -- Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge has fired back at the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Union Home Minister Amit Shah during the Vande Mataram debate in Rajya Sabha, saying that the prime minister and the home minister do not leave a chance to "insult" Jawaharlal Nehru. Mallikarjun Kharge also claimed that the ideological predecessors of the BJP were "working for the Britishers" when Congress leaders were being jailed during the Non-Cooperation Movement in 1921, while chanting 'Vande Mataram'.
