New Delhi, Oct. 28 -- A Bengaluru-based AI startup founder's job opening post on X has sparked an intense discussion about the Indian workplace culture and expectations from an employee or even an intern. The job in question required employees and interns to work for 60 to 80 hours per week, which did not sit right with many people.
Umesh Kumar, founder of Runable, a Bengaluru-based AI company recently came under social media scrutiny after his hiring post. He said in a post on X that the ideal candidate, who can be a full time employee or an intern, must work six days a week and agree to "pull off a 60-80 hours" workweek.
