India, Sept. 19 -- America observed the National Peanut Day on September 13 and an enthusiastic celebration has been reported in California. Facebook friend TD Garg, informed about this national day with a picture and pertinent information about the observance with a picture.
Though peanuts are not nuts but due to their appearance they are popularly called nuts. Nuts grow on trees while peanuts grow underground. However, because they make a tasty snack, they are liked all over the world.
In India, a few channels in their cookery sessions showed a few recipes that could add taste to the cooking by incorporating peanuts as a part of it. The chefs urged to observe the day trying new recipes with peanuts as one of the ingredients.
