SHILLONG, May 23 -- The Deputy Commissioner (Excise), East Khasi Hills District, Shillong in an order issued on May 22, 2020 has informed that wine shops and bonded warehouses in the district of East Khasi Hills will open in selected locations and in strict compliance to the listed conditions, with effect from May 25 to 30, 2020 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM daily.The order stated that only wine stores and bonded warehouses in listed areas will open on the days and timings mentioned above. However, wine stores in locations close to the international borders, narrow roads and lanes compromising the interest of social distancing and areas with high transmission risk will not open.
