Shillong, April 7 -- Along with the rest of the world, India too is facing the shortages of safety gears to battle one of the world worst pandemic, Coronavirus diseases 2019 (COVID-19). While most of the masses are eagerly waiting for the revocation of 21 day nationwide lockdown to end on midnight of April 14, 2020, Meghalaya too is strongly challenging the spread of the virus by self- quarantine for 21 days.

However, for essential services, few had venture out during the relaxation but most of those who had came out were not following the social distancing code, mainly due to the space and population.
