SHILLONG, May 25 -- Deputy Chief Minister, Prestone Tynsong on Monday informed that over 9,500 people stranded in various parts of India have so far returned to the state and that another 1,485 stranded people in four states will also be coming back to Meghalaya.He said that special trains carrying 225 from Rajasthan and 250 from Andhra Pradesh will leave for Guwahati Railway Station on Tuesday evening, while 500 from Delhi and 510 from Kerala will leave on Wednesday.

The Deputy CM further informed that a dedicated team has also been constituted to facilitate the return of stranded citizens from across the country in view of the resumption of flight and railway services.
