BINTANGOR, Sept. 15 -- The Education Ministry has allocated RM128 million to repair dilapidated schools in the country this year, Works Minister Baru Bian said today.

He said RM100 million alone has been allocated for Sarawak to fix 32 schools, compared to RM10 million to repair three schools in Sabah, and another RM18 million for fixing eight schools in Peninsular Malaysia.

"Apart from the RM100 million allocation from the Education Ministry, the federal Cabinet has also approved an allocation of RM1 billion for repairs of schools in Sarawak," Baru said at the ground-breaking ceremony for the redevelopment of SK Bandar Bintangor here.
