Sri Lanka, Dec. 17 -- I'm sure many of you do steam inhalation when you have a blocked nose or sinusitis. But is that all it does? Well, Steam inhalation isn't just for clearing blocked noses - it's also a gentle, natural way to rejuvenate your complexion. Let's take a closer look at how this simple ritual can make your skin feel fresh, radiant, and healthy.

How does steam work?

There are natural pores in your skin which can collect oil, dust, dead skin cells, sweat and various other pollutants we come across. These can clog our pores leading to breakouts like pimples, blackheads and whiteheads. When warm steam touches our face, our pores open up. Once they are open the cleansing effect will be better and the pores will unclog. The warmth in steam also improves the blood circulation to our skin, which brings in oxygen and nutrients. This in turn gives our skin a healthy glow.
