Pune, Nov. 17 -- The Maharashtra State Cooperative Textile Federation (MSCTF) has urged state textile commissioner for the further extension of power rebate.

According to media reports, the rebate given by the state government of Maharashtra to spinning mills on purchase of power expires by the end of December this year.

The spinning mills were granted a three-year subsidy of INR 3 per unit until 31st December, 2021.

It is expected that the mills will establish solar power plants at their property in these three years while the avail the subsidy.
